Yngwie Malmsteen Lesson
These are a bunch of licks and scales that he liked to use. Especially
on his first two albums. Fortunately, since then he's branched out,
incorporating modes, and other things like chromatic runs and more major
sounding scales. But this will give you an idea of where he started
when he did his first two solo albums. If you listen to Rising Force or
Marching Out, then listen to Fire and Ice or 7th Sign, you can hear a big
difference in his playing. Less of the dark minor songs, listen
to Leviathan off of Fire and Ice, very major sounding, now if he can only
do the same with his lyrics....:) Just kidding!
